A Weekend of Renewal at Winter Retreat

Resound Church’s college groups, A2F and Klesis Christian Fellowships, gathered at Black Diamond Camp earlier this year for the 2026 College Winter Retreat—a weekend marked by deep reflection, meaningful connection, and powerful encounters with God.

Isaiah, Neil, Bob, and Pastor Steven featured on a panel (friends since college)

It was especially meaningful to be joined by Steven’s longtime peers—Isaiah, Bob, Neil, and Jordan—who flew in to serve our students through workshops, worship, and personal testimonies. Their presence brought both wisdom and encouragement, helping set the tone for a rich and impactful retreat.

Throughout the weekend, messages centered on the life of David, inviting students to consider what it truly means to repent, receive God’s forgiveness, and pursue a noble cause together in community. We’re grateful that several students made Lordship decisions, choosing to recommit their lives to Jesus as Lord and Savior, and that one student made a first-time decision to follow Christ.

Beyond the sessions, friendships deepened and many took bold, personal steps in their faith. We’re thankful for all that God has done and are expectant for how He will continue to move in the lives of these students in the days ahead.
